Illness and being grateful

          Disember 2018. Kami mengetahui tentang bapak sahabat kami yang disahkan kanser usus stage 4. Walaupun sebelum tu kami dah dapat hint tentang penyakit tersebut, namun bab kanser ni, rasanya tiada siapa yang ready untuk go through the treatment, chemo dan sebagainya.

          Pening juga kepala terutamanya sahabat untuk fikirkan diet untuk pesakit kanser. Dia cuba amalkan  alkaline diet untuk bapaknya. Kalau dari alkaline food chart di bawah, yang boleh makan pun hanyalah buah-buahan dan sayur-sayuran. Ohmai. Teringat arwah Cikgu Rahman Atan ketika kami melawatnya, dia pun kata mulanya marah juga dia, habis, semua tak boleh makan. Terpaksalah kan, sebab kita tak mau Ca marker semakin meningkat jumlahnya. Seboleh mungkin, kita cuba untuk bunuh sel-sel jahat kanser ini. 



          Tapi kalau orang tanya saya, rujukan saya nombor satu mestilah my favourite Dr Jack Kruse. Daripada pembacaan berdasarkan link tersebut dan banyak lagi dia pernah bincang di website, forum dan fb page. Antara yang Dr Kruse suggest ialah sentiasa adakan unsweetened green tea drink di rumah. Sentiasa minum tiap hari.

"2. Immediately alter your diet to the Epi-paleo Rx and away from a Standard Western Diet." 
Epi Paleo diet banyak menekankan seafood. Which kebanyakan pesakit kanser dilarang untuk mengambil daging merah, jauhi seafood (?) kecuali ikan. It's quite contradict between what layman's opinion compared to Dr Kruse. Tapi bagi saya, tiap kita adalah berbeza. Kita boleh cuba dan lihat adakah diet kita tersebut akan tingkatkan bilangan Ca marker atau turunkan bilangan.

5. Consider beginning a supplement regime to include Curcumin, Reservatrol, Quercetin, Omega three Fish oil (Rx grade), Vitamin D3 with a target of being over 50 ng/dl, liberal use of CoEnZQ10 daily, R-alpha lipoic acid and a vitamin K supplement daily. Consider use of N Acetyl Cysteine daily as well. Notice I did not put the dosages down because the doses required for anti cancer therapy are significantly higher than one would use in a preventative state. This should be done with consultation of your oncologist. If your oncologist is not open minded about these issues…after reading the book in step one you might need to find a new oncologist. These are what I consider to be the core supplements to most cancers humans get.
Curcumin ialah anti inflammation. Banyak jurnal yang menunjukkan curcumin baik mencegah kanser. Tapi pendapat ini juga bergantung kepada tindak balas individu. 

8. Your immune system is your best defense against your cancer. Optimize your vitamin D levels and keep your insulin levels below two. Lowering your cortisol levels optimizes leptin but most importantly upregualtes your Natural Killer cells (WBC’s) that are part of your cell mediated immune system that actively fights cancer. You will read a ton about these cells in the book I recommended in step one.
Vitamin D boleh boost dengan exposure to sunlight. Always occupied sun in your life. InshaAllah at least ia boleh boost semangat, be grateful in the sun, sambil-sambil zikir. All the vibes, gelombang magnetik yang terhasil ketika itu sedikit sebanyak boleh membantu.
